I grew up in a small town in Central Illinois, graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from ISU and moved to the Chicagoland area right after college. I worked as a junior designer for a fast-paced ad agency in the Loop, served as an in-house designer for multiple high-end health clubs in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and finally took on my favorite job of all--being a mom! :)

I started KS Custom Apparel in 2013, while I was still home with my youngest. It wasn't an overnight success. I heard the word 'no' a lot and there were many up's and down's. But my favorite thing was seeing my customers wearing my shirts and being happy with their purchases. Fast forward 7 years: that feeling is a large part of what drives my business today. Owning my own small business is what puts a roof over our head and allows my kids to play their favorite sport -- club soccer! (Go Raptors!) So from the bottom of this small business owner's (and her children's) hearts, we'd like to thank you.
